Medical Group Information
Medical group quality ratings focus on how health care is delivered, how often a service or procedure is performed, and on the outcomes of those procedures.
Medical groups are groups of health care providers working together to provide care. This can be at one or many clinics. They play an important role in determining how care is delivered and making sure patients get the care they need.
Measure Development and Public Reporting
MN Community Measurement collects and reports data about the health of populations (such as children), health conditions (such as diabetes or asthma), procedures (such as heart surgery), and where care takes place (such as a clinic or hospital). Making this information available publicly benefits all Minnesotans, who can find reliable, independently verified health care information, compare clinics and hospitals, and find providers close to home.
Improving care in minnesota and beyond
MN Community Measurement's pioneering and nation-leading efforts to collect, analyze and publicly report health care quality, cost and patient experience information has improved care for Minnesotans. But it hasn't stopped there - many regional and national organizations utilize the quality measures developed and information collected by MNCM for a wide range of purposes from reporting on health care topics nationally to determining how much health insurance companies will reimburse providers for care they give to patients. Additionally, the process used by clinics and medical groups to submit data to MNCM helps them easily participate in local and national programs that reward high quality care.
